Olive Haven is a residential interior design project created for a family apartment in the Era Hexagon residential complex in Cluj-Napoca. The developer delivered the apartment with the main finishes already in place, including flooring, interior doors and electrical fittings. The design intervention focused on shaping the interior architecture through custom furniture and spatial composition, transforming a standard layout into a coherent living environment tailored to the family’s daily rhythm.

The concept was built around a calm palette of natural wood, soft olive tones and warm mineral accents. Rather than introducing strong contrasts, the project explores continuity between materials, allowing textures and proportions to define the atmosphere. Vertical wood panels, integrated storage and carefully balanced volumes create visual order while maintaining warmth and approachability.

Furniture design played a central role in the project. Each piece was developed to support the practical needs of the household while preserving spatial clarity. From the entrance storage to the living area composition and the kitchen layout, the elements work together to organize everyday routines without visually overwhelming the space.

The living area brings together the kitchen, dining and lounge into a fluid sequence. Soft green cabinetry, natural wood fronts and restrained lighting contribute to a quiet, balanced environment. The dining area acts as a subtle transition between cooking and relaxation, while the living space is anchored by a calm chromatic composition that favors comfort and visual stability.

Olive Haven is ultimately a study in measured warmth. Rather than relying on statement elements, the project builds atmosphere through proportion, material honesty and careful detailing, creating a home that feels composed, grounded and naturally livable.
