Moss Grove is a residential interior design project located on Dorobanților Street in Cluj-Napoca, set within a communist-era apartment that required an almost complete renovation. The intervention redefined the space through a new functional layout, custom furniture and a cohesive interior architecture approach, transforming an outdated apartment into a calm, contemporary home tailored to modern living.

The concept is rooted in a warm modern aesthetic with soft-classic and subtle boho influences, built around a muted palette of moss greens, earthy tones and natural materials. Rather than relying on strong contrasts, the design explores continuity between materials, using wood textures, layered textiles and soft finishes to create depth and a grounded, intimate atmosphere.

A key focus of the project was bespoke furniture and integrated storage solutions, designed to maximize space efficiency while maintaining visual clarity. From the entrance storage to the living composition and bedroom layout, each element supports everyday functionality, reflecting a refined approach to residential interior design and apartment renovation in Cluj-Napoca.

Architectural lighting plays a central role, enhancing spatial perception and highlighting textures, while carefully composed volumes and subtle detailing bring balance and rhythm throughout the apartment. The living area, dining and kitchen are connected through a fluid spatial sequence, encouraging a natural flow between daily activities.

Moss Grove is a study in quiet transformation, where interior design, renovation strategy and material coherence come together to create a warm, livable home defined by simplicity, proportion and understated elegance.
