Elevated Heritage is a residential interior design project created for a private home in Sebes, shaped by a dual vision. He imagined a bright, refined classical interior. She was drawn to a darker, more contemporary atmosphere. The project required a precise balance between these two directions without diluting either.

The solution emerged in a neoclassical language, where classical proportions and decorative fronts meet modern architectural clarity. Routed cabinetry, solid wood elements, panelled walls and warm herringbone flooring establish a timeless foundation. In contrast, contemporary lighting systems, integrated LED lines, recessed spots, filomuro doors and carefully selected modern pieces introduce technical precision and visual sharpness.

Light became the mediator between the two visions. Architectural lighting defines volumes and highlights textures, while darker inserts, stone surfaces and warm wood accents anchor the space and add depth. The result is not a compromise, but a layered composition where brightness and intensity coexist naturally.

A defining feature of the project is the fantasy-inspired library, requested by the client and influenced by the atmosphere of classic novels. What appears from the hallway to be a built-in bookcase is, in fact, a concealed sliding door. The bookshelf glides open to reveal a hidden library behind it, transforming a functional element into an experiential one. The gesture adds narrative value to the home and reinforces the dialogue between heritage and modernity.

Elevated Heritage reflects a contemporary interpretation of classical design. It preserves the dignity of traditional detailing while embracing modern technology and spatial innovation, creating a home that feels both rooted and current.
